1) Late in the first half 3rd and long, Clemson DB commits pass interference. LSU goes down field to take 28-17 halftime lead
3rd and 19... The PI was big but if the DB didnt tackle Marshall he was likely to catch it for more yards than the penalty gave us. He was wide the f open and Joe put it on the money.

Most underrated plays in NCG
quote:
Any other underrated plays?
A different angle and not about a single play or a few plays.
The entire game LSU seemed to be in total control of the outcome and dominated the pace of play and the game. Sure Clemson was a good team but Texas and Alabama played LSU tighter games.
The Clemson linebacker stood out more than any other player Clemson had, but was reckless and deserved to be booted from the game.
In sports the champion wins and there are always bounces that go either way, a missed layup, a lipped out putt, a dropped ball, a bad call and the list goes on, but every team has that wins overcomes the adversity and wins.
LSU dominated that game and won and it was not that close

#3 Stevens made a legal hit which put him out of game for a few plays
