LSU will need to show up hungry and motivated, and not overconfident. They are still Notre Dame and Irish grade recruits even when 2nd and 3rd string players hit the field. One month to gameplan and prep can hide some weaknesses temporarily.
2004 Iowa, then Penn St mudfight, and then Clemson at buzzer..LSU's dominant bowl play since late 1990s has been getting dinged up by being less motivated than some lesser foes at times.
LSU didn't run off and hide vs any name brand foe in 2014..I suspect ND will come to war.

Yeah, I could see it. JJ pulled that in the 08 Peach Bowl. Was nowhere to be found in the UW game to start 09.
The fact that the staff is looking at JC QBs for this year tells me they may not be confident in one, or possibly both, of our current scholly QBs.

It's hard to have confidence in this after what we've seen since Auburn, but I have to think Harris gets at least a series or two in the bowl. This game is about next year more than this year, and this QB job has to be up for grabs in the offseason based on Jennings' performance.
If Miles does stick with AJ, it's his funeral. He needs to get back in the good graces of his fanbase, and giving Harris a shot does that. It's a good way to let both him and everyone know that he has a legit shot at the job next season.

I think the only way this doesn't happen is if the Tigers break several long plays and that is a possibility. The ND defense is not only banged up but a half-step slower than the best SEC defenses.
