Didn't he leave the MSU game b/c of an injury?

Yeah but I thought it was said to be minor.

The Ole Miss loss was def. motivation, maybe it's a combination.

My whole point is I don't understand the "motivation" to trash talk. And I don't understand why coaches don't just tell their players, listen, don't do it. If you do, you're riding the pine. That would stop it.

Frankly, I don't get why they allow player interviews in the first place. Serves no purpose, IMO

This only reinforces my opinion that a pre-game speech from Hester would have changed the outcome.

wow, can you say the "F" word a few more times?

I'm not stirring the pot. I've been here for years on and off. I'm not a flamer.

Yes douchebag I saw him get injured at the game. I also read that he was expected to play, and it wasnt announced until after the "controversy" that he would be kept out.
For example, LINK

quit blaming the loss on RJF comments

Florida was going to be fired up no matter what based on the previous years game as well as their recent loss to Ole Miss at home.

RJF's comments played a minimal roll

LSU couldnt match Florida's intensity and lost, the end

My entire game overview hinges with motivation. UF was motivated, and Tebow specifically, due to the trash talking.

I don't understand why players do it. Ours, yours, everybody's. It's totally unnecessary, and it's plain stupid.

I think this was a major factor in this game. I'm sure some on here would agree.

Hey I couldn't agree more Swampy! I've noticed Florida under Meyer plays BEST when they're emotionally MOTIVATED! Hell, it's like night and day! They were downright damn flat against Ole Miss and let a win slip away. If Florida has the same motivation against Rebs as they did against LSU it, too, would have been a blowout! Gotta remember these are young and mostly immature young men playing this game. Maturity and wisdom comes with experience and age and (gulp) coaching! Obviously someone forgot to tell RJF that you don't want to give the other team "bulletin board material".
