Go through the proper channels on the help board...if the powers that be are sympathetic to your case, they'll give you an email link where you can official file a request.
Mainly, you start by taking it to the help board.

That's common knowledge. Bertman has said that for years in his press conference. That was the holdup on the new Box. Bertman wasn't gonna retire form coaching until he got a new stadium but thats how long it took. In Title 9 everything has to be equal. Also a couple of years ago the girls were a number 1 seed and didn't even host. They blamed it on the stadium.
not really. ive heard people say it but never seen proof. but if you said bertman said it then thats good enough for me.

My experience with at different levels like a small college were a a softball team can have light but men don't. But can't work other way around. It is even that way in high school.

Right and last year we had a regional and when we played ull they had more fans in tiger park than we did. When you look at it , when alabama opened their new softball stadium they sold every season ticket. The way i look at it there is no way we should let a school like ull bring more fan over here than we do .season tickets to the general public for softball will be on sale in about 10 days and single game tickets. Lets don't let this happen again lsu fans are lsu fans it doesn't matter what the sport. GEAUX TIGERS

They built the "old" one just about 10-15 years ago.
The old stadium is 12 years old...built when the program started. Obviously you never went to a game there...if you did, you would realize what an utter piece of crap that stadium is/was.
Joe Dean was the mastermind behind the old park. Title IX was up his arse to get it done RIGHT NOW, so the stadium was built very half-assedly. Many seats in the park had obstructed view. The location was terrible. Parking sucked. The dugout roofs were slanted such that the roof rose up toward the bleachers...meaning that people on the front coupld of rows couldnt see the baselines. There were many other construction "flaws" with that park. It was done terribly to begin with because Joe Dean was behind it.
If LSU doesn't get a new park, they will fall woefully behind Alabama, Florida, Auburn, and other school with nice places to play. Bertman always wanted to keep EVERY program as competitive as possible, and he held his promise by getting a new park for softball.

Gosh, I just love the posts from the knuckle-dragging neanderthals who think sports are just "for the boys." How 19th century of you guys. I just smile and think, hmm, they can complain til the cows come home, but Title IX is here to stay...and as a result thousands upon thousands of young women have gotten college educations and entertained thousands of women's basketball, softball, soccer, etc. fans...& the knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathers can't do anything about it.
But most of all, I wish that each of them have families consisting of all daughters...and that their daughters are blessed with athletic talent...& that they spend their days at the fields or courts of their daughter's sports! That's when I really laugh!

" as a result thousands upon thousands of young women have gotten college educations and entertained thousands of women's basketball, softball, soccer, etc"
and mens sports get slashed to do so.
you cannot strive for an equal schollie footing with football in the equation.
sftball has what? 16 on the roster, and something like 14 schollies. baseballs roster is 35 this year, with 12 schollies

I don't have a problem with women having the opportunity... but not when it takes away the opportunity from someone else
