I meant that all stripes finished off in the armpit, instead of just stopping at the cut.

The uni on the left is the one they wore in the Peach Bowl, like posters have said. It had the different jersey template with the longer shoulder stripes and 'geaux' number font I believe.
The LSU equipment people on twitter along with Justin Vincent have said they're wearing those this season.

the one on the left looks exactly like the Kevin Faulk uni in MTB's sig picture
The shoulder stripes aren't the issue (although I personally prefer the tapered look the past few years). What I think ruins our classic look is those cruddy numbers.

the shoulder stripes are terrible. especially on the players back. it just runs halfway down the back and stops. it does not curl under the armpit.

Texas didn't change number styles when they switched to Pro Combat.

Terrible and terribler
Hey let's change one of the best known uniforms in the history of college football and make it look more like Oregon.

How do you even notice stuff like that.

I always wonder wtf people are looking at during games to notice stuff like number font.

For real? Number font? Give me a break.
How can you NOT notice? I noticed the differences the very first second I saw the new jersey. I've been watching the Tigers for decades and it's not hard to notice something different.

The stripes were updated to match the new jersey type. Although I dislike the number font, this is far from Oregon. Ole Miss did the same thing too with their jerseys.

I pretty sure Boise, Oregon and Rutgers kept theirs

Leave the uniforms alone. We aren't Oregon. We shouldn't need gimmicks to attract attention. Winning is the only thing you need to do to get the attention of top flight recruits.

I dont understand why they put such a small SEC logo on the jerseys when the rest of te SEC teams have a large SEC logo on the left side. It looks much better that away.

Are you complaining about the jersey itself or the numbers?
Posted on 7/11/13 at 2:31 pm to The Hurricane

Posted on 7/11/13 at 2:37 pm to MTB

Don't like the solid white uniform and I don't like the skinny number font.
