A lot of other schools could take note from LSU on how to utilize the combat uniform without getting too radical. I liked the ones LSU wore against Ark and I like these too - it doesn't stray too far away from tradition but incorporates some old time tradition as well.

Ok they are really growing on me. I didn't even notice the helmet stripes until someone complained, I think they look great

I like the old gold and I especially like how the stripes go all the way under the armpits like they use to. I don't know why they ever changed them to the shortened version ? Would have also liked stripes on the pants.

Not bad! Prefer the gold or purple jersey that makes LSU different. Never been a fan of the white helmets. I dug the old gold ones from last year though. The gloves are awesome.

man these look sweet! especially for a 1 game a season deal. absolutely love it. would not want it for more than one game a season tho. love all the tigers uniforms.

I liked the ones from '09 a little more, just because it had the actual eye stencil from the eye on the field on the palm but I do like the purple on top of the hand on these new ones.
I have to get a pair of these. I missed out last time!

I think the best part of these is that Nike's basically confirmed that itCan produce shoulder stripes that go down further down the shoulder than the current hash marks they wear. Going forward if you just remove the purple section underneath the shoulder stripes you'd go back to something more similar to our traditional look. Here's to also hoping that LSU sticks with a truer gold color than our current uniforms.

I'm about as old school militant "No Uniform Changes" as there is, but the all white doesn't look too bad and I can handle that for one game.
They need to keep the PC white shoes with P + G highlights permanently.
