No rant, no melt

I guess good for them that they always seem to have one of those great guys on the team.

my point is their offense is pretty average when they don't have a great qb
This can be said for most teams. QB is the most important single position on the offense. LSU 2011 was an exception.

except for 2017...we saw what bama did when they didn't have a Heisman caliber qb

Regardless of the play call. Bama Georgia Clemson even TAM and Florida QBs had substantilly more time than the LSU QBs. We have not protected our QB or rushed the opponent QB in many years.

They got to the playoffs.
I think that's pretty good that their down year still results in a playoff run.

How about the down votes - denial to a potential big issue going into the season.

Shh, we don't want the other 129 teams to catch on to this.

Our offensive line was young and inexperienced last season. I expect a much better performance out of our OL this season.

I know. It’s a damned shame that they’re letting these players get injured. It’s a bama conspiracy

this is what I do not understand. LSU brings back 4 starters, and Brumfield was hurt like half the year anyway.
Do yall really think they are all going to get worse??

I still believe we're a year or two away from being confident in making it to the playoffs. I believe we have all the talent to make it this year but alot of things have to go right. We're a couple of injuries away from having a very similar season to last year. With one or two more classes like 2019's and 2020's, we will have the depth and experience to go through the SEC gauntlet where a few injuries wont affect our season like it did last season. If Delpit, Chaisson, Stingley, or any more olinemen gets hurt, it would be tough to win out the season and SEC championship.
