Criminals aunt smart, but will be smart enough to be where the cops aint... I can guarantee you they will be everywhere around the Dome, CBD, and Bourbon

If you don’t know what areas of New Orleans to avoid, then you need to Uber or taxi back to where you’re staying.

Just stay around crowds. Where people get screwed is going on the little side streets. Yes New Orleans is dangerous if you don't know the area but walking from the superdome to Harrah's is just walking down Poydras or Canal where there will be hundreds of witnesses. You will be fine.
