The kid's weight certainly isn't ideal, but I think it's really overblown on here.

Agreed. Myles can hold his own, many people don’t give him enough credit due to his weight. He can still sling it

MB will see mop-up duties if we have a big lead.

35% over 15 practices. Burrow should have caught up in summer workouts during the 7 on 7 drills.

He knew the playbook within the first week according to his brother on another site.......This is all coach speak. If the WRs catch the damn ball, Joey Football will produce

They had like a 4 hr film session when he was on campus for his visit I believe.... I'm sure they designed the offense to best fit his skillset, but he already knew a lot of the basics of the offense.

Saying that to keep Miami guessing is what he's doing. I do actually believe him that if Burrow isn't handling the game the way they like that Brennen could be put in yes I do.

So they should prepare for either QB IMO bc they could actually get either ones

His brother claims it’s pretty much the OSU Offense with different terminology, that’s the only reason his pops signed off on it.

It's obviously just my opinion, but if they're really that close then I would say it's because Brennan has just gotten that much better as a QB in his 2nd camp. This the 4th camp for Burrows so he should naturally pick things up faster.

IMO, Brennan being here during the spring foe 15 practices and splitting with 2 other QBs isn't really that much of an advantage over a 4th year junior grad transfer that's been through this 3 other times with Urban Meyer.

As he finishes his 2nd camp season we will see the light start to come on for him. If he can Play 4 gsmes ans RS even better.

Would it really change how they are preparing if either one was the starter?

And you are claiming to know more than you could.

It's a new offense. At this point I doubt Brennan has much of an advantage in knowledge of the offense, if any at all.

He has the benefit of spring practice whatever that's worth

If I’m the coach I want to get a lead and play the backup in every game. That should always be the goal.

I don't have a problem with that. There was a QB backing up Tommy Hodson that played every game I think. Can't remember his name.

Agree with the redshirt too. That's why I'm not all excited about him in mop up duty. Don't want to waste games handing the ball off.

this, the kid needs to play as much as he can for those 4 games and take a redshirt and not waste a year... I would love for Brennan to start for 2 years after Burrow moves on.. Brenna needs to redshirt, so if he can play in 4 games, he needs to play as much as he can in those 4 games... but be careful if Burrow gets hurt in one and he has to play in the 5th its def a waste of a year... O is gonna have to manage that... Plan to play for LA Tech and Rice, even though Burrow prob needs to play alot in the Tech game) and maybe a couple others...

I tend to agree with you on this. It's a gamble though if LSU is in position late in the season to play for the West and Brennan isn't ready because he hasn't played.

Well as the season goes on, and he hasn't been used, then start working him in for 3 games...saving the 4th. If at any point, besides maybe the bowl game, burrow goes down, Brennan isn't redshirting anyway. Hell if you get big leads against shite teams, I'm not against sale coming in and handing off.

I just have a feeling at some point lsu will need Brennan in a close game. Maybe work him in one garbage game early and then wait until needed.

Me either. This is a gamble I don't mind the coach taking because it's a big picture gamble.
