It's so fricking high school and for teams in college without talent.

You don't see USC or UF doing that shite do you? At least not every fricking play.

USC is not running no huddle and yes UF does do it. In fact most teams who run the spread no huddle does it. They do it to get the play. OU even does it, but sometimes Bradford would go quickly or look to sideline.

some of it was probably due to the lack of a consistent running game and lack of pass protection.

or maybe the fact that his throws were a little off to some open receivers

i hate it. but i am not a coach and don't get paid to come up with the best call.

plus its not like we are the only team doing it.

I've got no problem with the "look" mode. call a play in the huddle, look to see if you get the front/coverage for the play you want. If you do run it, if not change it.

Defenses are so multiple these days you can't just call a play and hope for the best.

From what I understand, at LSU there are also situations where our QB has 4 plays to chose from at the line and will get us into the best play vs. the front/coverage that the defense is playing. Maybe Crowton is doing that for JJ right now. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with JJ. He is just a 19 year old sophomore.
