what if Notre Dame loses tonight, and you see Bama #1, UF #2. With UGA, LSU and TAMU then vying for the Sugar, Cap 1 and Cotton ??
Sugar out. Vying for CAP 1, CFA, Cotton.

Cotton Bowl is guaranteed a sellout with A&M versus Oklahoma.
OU is going BCS dude.
If Stanford wins and keeps Oregon out of the PACCG, Oregon goes to Fiesta as at large, OU goes to Sugar.
That means Clemson is going to Peach.
ACC won't get two teams in if Oregon is an at large
And if FSU somehow loses the ACCCG, we'd play FSU in ATL.
I could deal with a Peach bid against FSU or Clemson.
Would be awesome.

If USCe falls to Clemson wouldn't the Outback be likely to take us over them? They don't HAVE to take an east team. Sorry if already mentioned.

If Notre Dame loses, then theoretically, it is florida sitting in the alabama position of last year, where the winner of alabama/georgia plays florida for national championship. It will be interesting to see the voters place oregon to try to get them to jump florida to prevent an all sec matchup and potentially a georgia/florida rematch? Then the bowl selections get crazy.

Won't happen. FLA is crazy strong in the computers, the gap between teams should be high. FLA is almost guaranteed to be in the BCSNCG should ND lose

So does it really matter to us if ND wins or loses now?? Don't know what to do. I hate ND and USCw equally.

Don't think so man.
I'm pulling for USC just so Bama has to play a team from SEC that didn't win their division for the title.
Bit of karma.

I have a hard time seeing us anywhere but the Peach Bowl at this point. Especially if ND loses. That puts the loser of the SECCG in the Cap One, and it would be between LSU and TAMU for cotton.

I'll ask it again. Why is everyone just penciling in UGA in the Cap One?
The Cap One has selected the loser of the SECCG just once in the last eight years.

Uga to cap one
SC to outback
LSU to chicken bowl. It's going to happen
I read hundreds of comments where most said Auburn has the ability to play Alabama close as they did us. I was beside myself at those ridiculous comments. There are some real LSU fans onboard but for those who stated Auburn would beat Alabama. Seriously. When you are playing for a NC in the SEC you do not lose to subpar teams. That happens in other conferences. LSU fans should know that. Enjoy the Chicken Sandwich Bowl.

It's possible, especially with Michigan likely headed there, but just a feeling that most agree UGA ends up in Orlando.
They haven't been there since the 08 season.
UGA has a lot of positive momentum heading into bowl season. Moreso than LSU imo.
Even if they lose the SECCG, I think they'll be attractive to Cap 1.

UGA is going to the NC! The last time UGA played for the NC their opponent was...Notre Dame. Alabama has played two good teams in LSU and A&M and we know how those turned out. Why is everyone still convinced that Alabama is this unbeatable machine....They are not!!!!!!

A&M is destroying Mizzou. We struggled to beat a bad Arky team that A&M killed.
If it comes down to us and the Aggies for the Cotton Bowl bid, I don't see how we get the invite over them.

We played #5 Miami the same year we got shafted.
They were number 9.
I remembered 5 vs. 9 ... we ended up 5. Maybe that would make this team the highest ranked at the Peach.
ETA: Tennessee was #6 in 2003-04.

Like your Karma comment. Never thought of it that way, but I'd love to see Florida toast Bama since they don't have to play them in the regular season.
BTW, who schedules for Georgia. What a cream puff schedule two years in a row without having to play LSU, Bama, or A&M.
