Ok peeps, we need to all come up with a gameplan to get as many tiger fans in one place on Friday night as possible. I live in Gville, so if anyone has any questions, let me know.

to be honest, I'm not 100% what norman field is. Sorry, I know that isn't much help. I work at the hospital and I don't get to stray much from there, so I'm not super duper familiar with campus. I do believe parking is allowed in the Shands parking garage, but it's a pretty good walk from the stadium...

Going there would be a good set up for the rest of the night because midtown is the most fun part of town, IMO. Lots of bars to choose from and it's kind of like the equivalent of tigerland. To anyone going out there, I suggest you go EARLY. Parking is a total bitch (there are no lots, really...you have to parallel park in the neighborhoods behind it) and the lines are ridiculous on game weekends.

we are getting to gainesville around 6am friday morning. after we sleep a few hours, i plan on driving around campus to check out possible tailgate spots.

I (Gator Fan) am driving down Fri with 2 LSU fans and would like to drop by some LSU tail gates on Sat and say hello. We could contribute some coins or maybe we could drop off a cooler with drinks/food early then come back later (after we park). Just thinking out loud.

8 of us headed down friday afternoon and will be in gainsville early a.m. 1st sec road game for most of us so we will be looking to meet up with some fellow tiger fans and see how its done on the road. let us know what we can do and we'd love to meet up at yall's tailgate.

So me and 4 friends are going but don't know anyone else going and don't have room for our normal tailgate gear. Is the plan still norman field? Besides alcohol and some $$$ anything we can bring?
