I am not sure that is definately a rule, but do you think it has something to do with the Superdome not being a College Stadium and/or located on a college campus. Maybe the rule is that alcohol cannot be sold on college campuses, if such a rule exists. If this is true then the alcohol in the suites falls within a loophole - the alcohol is not sold, it is bought before the season as a part of the catering contract.

Get rid of Toonces and any other logo and stick with ONE theme. That's how UT, FSU, and others have done it. We should use the tiger head on the helmet as a logo and the GEAUX font only for apparrel. No more toonces, or backwards hat tigers on a ballcap.
THANK YOU!
The team they hired were apparentely frickING RETARDED.

Already in the works. You'll have a nice big screen in the north endzone next year. The south endzone will come after they add the upper deck.

If that is the Case they why was I allowed to Buy Alcahol at the Superdome for the National Championship Game last year and I was not in a suite.
The superdome is not an SEC venue.

there is no rule.
but alcohol sales aren't encouraged by the NCAA.
but they will sure as hell put up coors light and bud light ad's.

Universities allow beer companies to use logos, likenesses and the names of the schools to sell their product, but selling in venues is out of the question. Athletic departments and university administrators should make up their minds whether alcohol helps college programs or destroys the students who support them.
it's a interesting point really.
Beer used to be sold in Tiger Stadium.
what year did it stop?
1988?

It might be a SEC rule but not a NCAA RULe. Go to a baseball game at UNO and they have a concession stand called the Beer House. It has over 20 types of beer you can buy and go sit in your seat and watch the game.

Fix the crappy field. If the upper decks prevent the field from getting adequate sun to grow grass install field turf. It makes no sense to have so much team speed when our home field prevents us from using it to our advantage!

to clarify, it's definitely an SEC rule, no team in the conference is allowed to sell alcohol in the stadium, so take that up with them

The "make the dorms suites" idea is a good one. Do what you can to get that done.
Will never happen. Now way the costs could ever be recouped between asbestos abatement, replumbing, electrical, fire code and ADA compliance.

The appearance of TS is a killer. The old dorms in the NEZ, west and east sides are embarrasing. I think demolishing the dorms and reworking the ramps would allow for them to modernize and expand all of the concourses. The only thing is it would cost HUGE amounts of cash and probably take a very long time as well.

Alleva said when he first took the job that he wants to clean up the exterior. Don't know how soon this will happen.

I've heard that before, but can't find a link.

- Explan to the marshalls that no one gives a flying rat's arse when they get out of the stadium...and being jackasses and trying to run paying customers OUT of the stadium 10 seconds after the final whistle blows is NOT good business. If the players are still exiting the field, the GBFTL is still playing...I'm STAYING. I get to do this 7/8 times a year and am not going to be run out because half the stadium left during the third quarter and because of that it's looks like I'm loitering. I'm not. I stayed 'til the end...deal with that.
- For the love of Jimmy Taylor, quit playing piped in music in Tiger Stadium. Pregame during warm-ups...fine. But the ONLY time recorded music should be played in TS once the game has started is when the GBFTL is unable to play because they are leaving for/coming back from playing halftime. And ONLY play GBFTL music. AC/DC while fine to listen to whilst driving around in the IROC is NOT cool in TS.
- Explain to the BR police officers who are being paid to park people in the lot in front of the natitorium off of Nicholson that they represent LSU while doing that job, and needlessly being pricks does nothing to help that. For instance, have them get there ON TIME and park people. If they don't, explain to them that FORCING 30 sets of cars to move that have already set up tents, cooking equipment, chairs, tables, etc is NOT ok simply because they got their late.
- Fix the field issue. I'm not buying the warm grass/cool grass bullshite even for a second. The grass was unplayable for thre UGA game, and that was late October before we had had any real cold spells. How are other programs near our same latitude able to grow grass? Magic? I also don't buy the upper decks issue, either. Anyone remember the North Texas morning game? The sun was shining brightly on the field by the time I got to my seats in the EU and that was about 8:45. The sun doesn't duck behind the WU until maybe 4. Find another reason. And if we CAN'T grow playable grass for the entire season, then put in a playable surface...even if it's asphalt. People are paying huge sums of money that goes towards great causes like salaries, scholarships, equipment, travel, etc...but it's all because we're there to watch the game. THE PLAYING SURFACE, therefore, is pretty important. I never want to see our field tackle one of our players ever again.

the way things are? what leads you to believe this? it was a night game in tiger stadium last year, also, if you really believe LSU has control of the times of the games, you aren't very credible
BS. LSU did a pretty good job of getting white jerseys. Use your influence and have the lame-arse SEC administration do something for their money.
