I'll admit that teh big X is tougher than the southland and C-USA

I remember them beating the SEC West's best in 2006 however....or was that game not covered in Hawaii?

ACC is even, Big East is worse.
Well, IMO, the Big East is better than the ACC, so...

It is.
Like I said, we have 4 big OOC matchups that should determine which conference is better.

The day I say this in defense of my conference will be a sad day indeed.
Well, you've probably in the past said it about the SEC before.

Wisconsin, Penn St, MSU, and even Purdue will all be better than Illinois this year, IMO.
That's still not saying much

2006 was the year LSU went to the Sugar and Florida played for the Championship.
Arkansas and Tennessee went to the lower bowls...not the SEC's best team.

I would say this year they're going to be gunning harder for Georgia and Florida than LSU.
Ohio State is currently at the top of the Big10. We have been for 3 years. Every other team has to hate us by now. Not only that, we've let the Big10 down in bowl games the past two years. They're taking a hit because of our bowl game performances.
They're going to come out pissed and ready to play.

Wisconsin < Tennessee 17-21
Ohio State < LSU 38-24
Congrats. We had our two best teams both years playing in BCS bowls so your 2nd and 3rd best teams were playing teams who usually weren't in our top 3 best teams.

we're the defending NC's... you think florida and georgia are on bama and auburns mind. frick no. we play georgia and we wanna stomp that arse because of all the pissing and moaning they did at the end of last year.

You try to tell them this and they won't listen. This isn't 98' anymore. Tennessee is a mediocre team with a horrible coach.
Arkansas puts up a fight then lays eggs everywhere. They are basically like Ole' Miss every year. They are Ole' Miss in the mid-90's. One good player. Bad overall team.

The Big X had 2 reps in the BCS the last 2 years too, so 3 played 3 and 4 played 4...
But the Big X has sucked it up in the BCS. The beauty of college football is it can be turned around in 1 year

But in another couple of years, nobody will remember that. Why? No crystal balls.

Like I said in a thread yesterday, you're schedule isn't that much better than OSU's:
LSU:
Two very tough games (at UF, UGA)
One difficult game (at Auburn)
Two challenging games (at S.C., Bama)
Two "potentially" challenging games (MSU, at Arky)
Five easy games (Ole Miss, NTU, App St, Tulane, Troy)
OSU:
One very tough game (at USC)
One difficult game (at Wisky)
Three challenging games (PSU, MSU, at Illinois)
Two "potentially" challenging games (Purdue, scUM)
Five easy games (YSU, Troy, at NW, Minnesota, Ohio)
I don't know about you, but I think that's a pretty fair assessment. So LSU's schedule, while tougher, isn't a whole lot tougher, IMO.

You do realize that you just downgraded our conference, right?

Umm, we had Michigan and Illinois in the Rose both those years, nice try.
