Not saying Aubie won't be decent, but we're at home and have experienced QB. We've won 9 outta 12 and have owned them in TS. If O can't win 11 this year, when will he ?

States Defense was one of the best in the country last year. You act like our offense was inept every game. We drove the ball just couldn’t get into the end zone. This has been a problem for a while and is with many teams. It’s not just LSU. That is precisely why we brought in this new school coach to help with some of these issues. We’ll see what happens this year.

This is my exact sentiment as well. I’ve been called an O “supporter” but I’m an LSU HC supporter and want to win as bad as the next.
I simply didn’t believe one or two years was enough time to make any type of judgment on the guy especially after seeing what our roster was left with when the last regime was sent packing and state of the program. It was on a downward trajectory and he had to turn that around while dealing with the negativity of lots of so called fans.
I was one that gave him a shot from the get go and while I didn’t agree with every decision, I see him actually trying to do what’s best for LSU. Changing the culture and attitude of our program and kids in it. The players love the guy and so do the recruits. This year is his year to do big things. 10-2 would be a good season anything more than 2 losses would be a disappointment imo. 11-1 would be a great season and is what I would like to see. We have the talent to win every game this season including Bama. There is no excuses this year, it’s time to put up or shut up.
The schedule looks winnable, the roster looks good, we have a very good QB coming back with depth and we have some young coaches that might make the difference this year. We’ll just have to see.

Only 4 games on schedule in doubt... by tiger81
Texas, Florida, Bama and Ags. That's it, and 2 of those at home. 11-1 guys, nothing less. The schedule is there.
O lost to fricking Troy.
Nothing is a given anymore.

I still say 10-2. It’s a tough schedule.

I don't think Aubie is going to be very good. After last year don't think we lose to A&M. Gaytors gonna be better.
Bama is Bama. 11-1, #4 seed in Playoff vs Clemson First Round

This year is a referendum on O's coaching ability. This is the year.
If you're a college coach in the best conference in the country then every day is a referendum on your ability because the margins between winning and losing are that slim. We need to stop making excuses every time one of these asshats who we pay millions of dollars to isnt putting up the results. LSU sports and particularly LSU football has a huge impact on everything in this state, even the economy so lets act like every day and every game matters. Because they do. This season shouldnt be any different.

In the strongest possible aspect I vehemently discourage any effort to support the belief that pre season predictions have merit.
Example: Pundits predicted LSU as a 5 loss team 2018. Toughest schedule in the USA. All which proved completely false.
