I think you are being a little unfair if you call people who support the coach O lovers but aren’t ok with people who criticize him being called O haters or O bashers.
I honestly don’t have a side in this. I was happy with the product put on the field by LSU last year and thought it had room to improve, and expect to see those improvements this year.
It’s just when people come on here with misinformation or trying to spin facts it ticks me off.

Nah I meant why are people saying that the reason people wanted Miles fired is for winning 10 games a season. That isn’t true at all.

It isn't me doing it. I agree with you, it's ridiculous and unnecessary to label any fan of the team a basher or a hater or a huge fan of O. It doesn't affect anyone one way or the other. What everyone wants to see is what happens on the field.
I support him and I've told him that to his face. While I shook his hand.
I pull for the LSU team. Their success means the coach succeeded. It's really that simple.
I'm labeled as a Basher because I have concerns about his in day coaching abilities and a few concerns yet I've never bashed O for anything.

we lost to bama(still doing this and now we arent even competitive)
we lost multiple other inferior teams (still doing that)
had a bad offense (2 of miles' last 3 offenses were vastly more productive than O's offense)
under O we are averaging the 5th best recruiting class in the sec

I mean, seriously, would you agree that last season was a success and met and went beyond expectations? Theres no way we could have expected that team with all the adversity it faced to do any better. I don't care who the coach was. Some of our fans are just unrealistic and ridiculous.
This year is another story. We are absolutely loaded all across the board with veterans all over the field and quality depth to go along with it. We have to win 11 games in the regular season, or I will agree that this season was botched and underachieved. This year's team compared to last year's team is not even a comparison. We had question marks all over the damn place going into the season. This is the year. Geaux Tigers.

Absolutely. This is the year to get it done. He has a loaded team. There are no excuses now.
He's paid handsomely to have such high expectations. And he knows it and has admitted it.
I'm holding him to the same standards that I held Miles to. I don't think that's an unreasonable stance to have.

Man, you just need to become a kansas fan. You really obviously a les miles fan more than an LSU fan. Miles needed to go dude. He refused to change and our program was slipping. Especially at the qb position, which he never could figure out, and at a program like LSU, that's just sad and inexcusable. We should always have a serviceable qb at the very least that can be a threat throwing the football. Miles was his own worst enemy and has nobody but himself to blame. O has this program on the upswing without a doubt. Look at our how we are recruiting now in regards to where we are getting top notch players. We are shutting Louisiana down as well. O has done everything he has said he would and I have no reason to believe that this is as good as it will get under his leadership. He's just getting started baby, and we are going to be a force to be reckoned with, mark my words and bookmark that shite. I still promise you that last season, if we still had miles as hc, we would have only won 8-9 games and definitely wouldnt have made a ny6 bowl. More importantly, we wouldn't have joe burrow, he would be playing at Nebraska right now and we would be going into this season with Brennan, narcisse, or mcmillan starting lol. Get your head out of your arse.

All of those things can end this year. The last part is currently being corrected being only a few points behind Bama in composite and above them and everyone else per Rivals (as that means the world to some people). Troy was two years ago. Get over it! I know you hate O and probably fantasized all sorts of wrong happening to him in a dream you had the other night but reality is LSU under O is trending up. Now he and the Tigers must keep the trajectory.
