No one will ever convince me Yamin was intentionally hit by that pitch. He was fricking looking the direction of the backstop when his elbow swung out.

He stuck his elbow out, and it was obvious, numbnuts. Took about 12 seconds to review and confirm.

Y’all are fricking idiots who apparently think that someone can track a pitch to their elbow while fricking looking at the backstop. Lmfao

Because he stuck it out there over the plate. It’s not difficult to understand.

He turned away and his head spinned with his body, with his elbow following that naturally? He wasn’t even looking at the fricking pitch whenever his elbow swung out

Yet to have anyone explain to me how someone can “intentionally lean” into a pitch that they are turned around looking away from

Unfortunately for LSU fans, it was the right call.

How the frick can someone intentionally get hit by a ball they are looking away from?

Kid literally not only leaned into the pitch. He would have jumped into it if he could.

He turned completely away and his elbow swung out when he already was looking completely away from the pitch

So unless he blindly threw an elbow to where he thought the ball would be… there was absolutely 0 intention there
Someone needs to check these umps pockets for the A&M cash

He’s 4-5. He struck out when Jay got ejected Nonetheless, first 4 HR game in LSU history I believe

So is he 5-6 then? It said he had 4 home runs and a single. I didn’t see the first few innings yet

I don't disagree but damn Curiel's gotta touch the plate there. It was a stupid gamble but it could've paid off.

For sure

Apparently our third base coach threw up a last second stop sign too. All kinds of weird stuff on that play
There is just no world where you send Curiel instead of getting second and third with no outs

None

Why are we sending instead of just getting second and third with no one out?????

Tennessee just got maybe the worst strike 3 call I’ve ever seen

My gawd your fanbase is pathetic. It’s always excuses instead of admitting you lost straight up.

If you can actually watch that 8th inning and say those weren’t obvious strikes that weren’t even remotely close idk what to tell you

re: Saturday SEC Baseball

And yet, the errors had nothing to do with why you won

You won because the 8th inning wasnt ended when it should have been because the umpire called 4 separate strikeouts right down the middle balls

It’s just absurd how consistently literally god awful the umpiring can be with zero accountability

LSU got out of that 8th inning like 3 times

Like genuinely do these guys even go through training? I’m gonna sign up to be an umpire if it literally doesn’t matter if I’m any good at it or not

Freshman defensive player can’t field a double play grounder

He shouldn’t have had to field a double play ball

BOTH batters involved in that double play struck out before they got on base :dunno:

Watch the 8th inning again where Oklahoma got their last 3 runs. LSU got out of it 3 separate times. Complete bullshite

That game was ENTIRELY on the umpire. 3 of the runs were scored in innings that were ended multiple times on strikes literally right down the middle that weren’t given.

Pure absurdity. That ump couldn’t pay 1 million dollars directly to me for me to let him ump another game. He should be fired on the spot
