What was the average ranking of the recruiting classes making up the five classes prior to their arrival at the respective schools

aTm hasn't had a class outside of the top 12 in four years.

Texas had one bad class in the last 4 years.

I was! how does a player not know to not field a punt you have to LAY OUT for? It's like a player that fields a punt inside the 10, your taught in JR high not to do that. That's on the player and coaches.

I was mainly bitchin why coaches keep forcing a kid out there that has become a head case and needs to take some time off, get coached up.

I call it like it is on players and coaches...you not so much!

You're an incredible hypocrite.

This is laugable

Depends on the goal.

If the goal was to compete for championships and see improvement every year, revamp the offense, win big games against big competition, and compete with the elite coaches - the answer is no. We had a worse SEC record. Are in 0-6 against Saban, Mullen, Fisher after 2.5 years and are nowhere close to looking like a championship team.

If the goal was to main a mediocre final ranking, but not tank the program then yes,

they still are ranked behind LSU.

is I guess a win. I will admit, I don't think O tanks the program anymore, but I've also seen nothing that says he can be successful after Aranda, were that to happen.

Is ok with bashing players, which you have done all year. But any criticism towards a coach is uncalled for and shitting on staff. Not sure why its ok for you to trash players and but not be critical of coaches, get bent all out of shape when you read criticism on coaches.

It's called a comparison, you're being intentionally obtuse to try and support your position. I'll illustrate for you using 247 composite rankings for the years immediately preceding the respective arrivals of Herman, O and Fisher.

LSU:
2017 - 7
2016 - 2
2015 - 5
2014 - 2
2013 - 6
Average ranking: 4.4

A&M:
2018 - 17
2017 - 13
2016 - 7
2015 - 11
2014 - 5
Average ranking: 10.6

Texas:
2017 - 25
2016 - 7
2015 - 10
2014 - 17
2013 - 17
Average ranking: 15.2

LSU objectively had BY FAR more talent on the roster upon O's arrival than either Herman had at Texas or Jimbo had at A&M.

I wish these clowns would spend more time in the football ops building worrying about football than attempting to sway public opinion here.

For all of Miles' faults, at no point were we EVER inundated like this with obvious fake accounts here to spin opinion.

It's utterly pathetic...and obvious.

I don’t want to push anyone out the door, but I wanted a more offensive minded coach than a D line coach. I thought that was one of the big factors in wanting to push the last staff out the door. 3 yrs later and we have a worse O than we had before.

That doesn’t seem like much progress to me, but each do our own.

That's because as his offensive coordinator, O chose to hire the coach of the worst performing and ineffective positions (TE) on one of the worst performing and ineffective offenses (LSU).

Oregeron is not the right choice, he was the easy choice, the cheap choice. He does not bleed purple and gold, and this isn't his dream job. He said the same damn thing at Ole Piss. His only ties to LSU was a failed attempt as a player and he quite and went to Northwestern State. If anything he is a book mark.

The belated attempts to paint O as some sort of lifelong LSU supporter is the most insulting part of this whole charade.
