This post incapsulates the mindset of the LSU fanbase more perfectly than any in the history of the rant.

Outside of 2009, LSU has done nothing in Omaha in the past 15 years. Maybe 2 wins. Sure, its great to get to Omaha but with the amount of money LSU & its fans put into this program it should be expected that they go to Omaha. Just like how simply making it to the elite 8 means nothing to Kentucky basketball fans, simply making it to the CWS shouldn't mean much to LSU baseball fans.
Its amazing that LSU baseball fans are just now realizing that LSU is no longer a dominant baseball program.

Ell ... Looks like 32 teams participated in the CWS in 7 seasons (2010-2016). Only four programs (12.5%) have winning records over that span.
32/7 = 4.6 new teams in Omaha each season on average.

ETA: Also, it looks like 7 teams have a winning record. 21.875%
USCe
Virginia
Arizona
UCLA
Vanderbilt
Coastal Carolina
Miss St. (Only team without a championship)

You essentially have to get to the championship to have a winning record.
And 25 teams have the same or more wins than we do. A lot of them with less games played. No team during that span has played as many games as we have and won less. Miami and TTU are tied with LSU.

Looks like people are finally awaking to what some of us have known for years... Paul Pasta Sauce is the Les Miles of baseball.

Nope, we played 5 games and they played 4. Same amount of losses and CWS appearances but not games played

Right, but they only played 4 because they failed to win one. I'm just pointing out that they are the worst performing team with two trips in this span.

Yes. LSU has only one win during a 7 year span post 2009. I wasn't thinking clearly this morning with just 5 hours of sleep.

Agreed. Im just assuming they have at least a 50/50 shot at possibly tying us in the win column with another game played.

Need to get rid of the Les Miles of baseball, bruh.
In other words comparing CPM to CLM is a retarded way to dis him.

This is a great Post title. Been saying it for years.

He totally overreacted after losing to UCLA in the CWS and has built a team of slapp hitting midgets. You can't expect to get 3 singles in a row to score a run. We need a lot more players built like Deichman and a lot less built like Kramer.

The change started after 2012 and that outfield not 2013.

So is everyone else's. I've said it here a million times and people just don't seem to get it. Not to diminish Skip's accomplishments, but very few schools gave a shite 20 years ago about baseball. The talent is more spread out now, more schools throw money at baseball now, and it's much harder to win. The days of the "super-teams" like LSU, Wichita, Miami, etc are over and the sooner the fans realize this, the less miserable they will be. I miss the old days too, but Geauxrilla ball is history.
