which brings up an interesting question. Has anyone other than Jai Eugene had his starting position taken away after he had become a full time starter?

Jarvis was getting snaps late in 07 for a reason

Well, Hitt did it when he was a sophomore, and he should be more powerful now as a senior, so I don't understand why he's not doing it now. This really baffles me.

Could it be because they're outnumbered and have to try and block more than one defender?

And anyone that doesnt realize this, dont know shite. Until we can throw the ball far enough to back people out of the box, no OLine could do better.

I know it isn't saying much and is pretty sad at this point but I think T-Bob is our best OL right now.

Really?

(9:04) Zach Smith sacked Jordan Jefferson for a loss of -7 yards.
(8:29) Jordan Jefferson passed incomplete.
(8:21) Jordan Jefferson passed incomplete to Chris Mitchell
(5:48) Charles Scott rushed for 4 yards.

(4:38) Keiland Williams rushed for 2 yards.
(4:12) Jordan Jefferson passed incomplete to Keiland Williams.
(4:07) Jordan Jefferson passed incomplete to Brandon LaFell.

Looks to me like we tried, but just couldnt deliver. We put the ball in JJs hand 14 times, and rushed only 4 times in the 2nd half. JJ should have brought the pain, but didnt. Other teams are going to do the exact same thing.

nobody is gonna bench a 4-0 QB. I would just like to see what JL could do with a few series

No, he is getting beat by one man. When extra defenders are in the box, they go get the ball carrier. I am not trying to slam Hitt, I like him and know he can play better. He has showed it. But ULL & Vandy DTs beat him one one one a lot. I understand you are trying to take the blame off of the O-line and pin it on the QB, but if you want an honest view of the situation, you are going to have to get rid of that bias. The O-line is getting beat on pass protection too. Thats not to say that Jefferson can't play better. He can, and I am confident that he and the O-line will play better in Athens.

Until JJ can CONSISTENTLY throw the ball teams will continue to stack the box and shut down the run. The O-line can only do so much. Weight has noting to do with blocking technique. Check out the Broncos all those years under Shannahan. Always undersized, but always dominate!

talent, bulk, and mixing zone and man blocking schemes. the OL is just a mess

i mean i didn't have to say the last part. USL handled up on our OL

and it wasn't b/c they had "9 men in the box"

SFP, teams are routinely stacking all 11 men in the box against us. its damn near impossible to run against that but Corch Myles knows its still important to keep them honest by running btwn the tackles

I'm tired of the "predictable playcalling" complaint. I don't even know what that means.

36 attempts
164 yards
4.6 y/c

C. Scott 12/63 5.3
K. Williams 10/41 4.1
J. Jefferson 8/25 3.1
R. Shepard 4/21 5.3
T. Holliday 2/14 7.0
Team 36/164 4.6

and we were up by 21pts with 10:53 in the 3rd and were on cruise control

I think you like to make shite up to fit your argument
