Pure BS.
This was a “comfort” hire by Orgeron. Pelini’s last defenses at YSU were bad. The Big1G he coached in was very traditional from an offense standpoint. He was a poor choice.
Orgeron could have found a guy with an attacking style that was a better fit for the current game.
Same with Linehan hire.

How much time did Leach need? He got a QB and installed a new offense with almost no offseason.

Got damn, no-one was asking for an under 200 yard day with a shutout.
