You are correct. The only people who know anything about QB throwing motions are current or NFL/Div 1 players. There has never been a talent evaluator of ANY merit who can't say that.

Oh. Wait. That's not correct. Now is it?

Um. You asserted that was the exact throwing motion you'd expect on slants etc.

OK. Show me a pic or vid of that happening with another QB.

Good fricking luck.

People can dismiss me as not knowing what I'm talking about if they like. It's a message board. People do that. I'm not going to change their minds.

But, regardless, I do in fact know what I'm talking about.

Brah, you don't even understand what the word "motion" means, as you have misused it already several times in a little more than a page. So you can see how we might question your credentials on something a little more intricate than a simple definition. JJ might have the worst throwing motion in the history of football, but 1 frame is not proof of such, and only a fricking retard would try to make it so.

They've got some in the other thread I posted. Have you even bothered looking at it?

The fact that you feel the need to remind us all in every single one of your posts makes me think otherwise.

I'm not saying I'm a genius when it comes to throwing motions, but I do know that there are different mechanics depending on the receivers route. Thats all I said. And all you continue to say is "I know what I'm talking about" "I know how to throw a football" And when I ask you if you're aware of these different throwing motions, your response is "Show me a picture"

If you know ANYTHING about QB mechanics and you look at picture 5(JJ throwing) from this link, you are undoubtedly concerned
as we all know jjs throwing motion is a little diffrent but you find a pic from (last week)and want to get attention from the haters that you discovered a major issue with our qb and you are the one after watching jj for 14 games that found a picture, and wanted to alert every one that they should be undoubtedly concerned.

LOL. Just because you can't recognize a stage in the MOTION of a QB's throw from a still pic doesn't mean everyone lacks that ability. Did you know NFL scouts actually look at still photos to detect issues? THE HORROR. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE WORD MOTION MEANS!!!

You are correct. If the ONLY THING I had EVER seen of of JJ's throwing motion was that pic, then I got nothing.

Alas, if you've seen THIS EXACT issue on MANY previous occasions, then seeing it again in a recent still photo is HIGHLY informative.

That picture tells us nothing if we don't know the route he was throwing to.

It's 8 pages long and not all of it is about JJ. A little direction would help. TIA

Yeah. You're right. When people assert you don't know what you're talking about, the normal response is to say nothing. That usually does it.

But again, I quite obviously understand that people don't tend to believe folks on message boards. Hell, for good reason!! I get that.

Doesn't change anything, but I do understand it. It aint like this board is populated by nothing but people who could be the next Lombardi.

My point was, you wont be able to and when you post one you think demonstrates your point, the differences will be quite apparent.

Actually, it does. Sorry. It just does. Especially given that this picture could've been taken during a GREAT MANY of his throws in 2009.

Again, I really don't expect people to say, "well, ShortyRob said it, it must be so".

I'm simply making an observation on a board based upon what I know. People don't have to believe me.

Actually, if he's throwing to a slant route or short in route, you want a very high release point.

You referring to the pics of Rohan?

You don't see a difference in the pictures? Really?

Don't look just at the release point. Look at elbow position. Hips. Shoulders.

For JJ to finish where Rohan does in those pics would require some sort of miraculous event at the elbow.

Can I show a still of us running the option to the short side?

NOTE: I'm just being funny guys. I do understand the short side option can be effective.

Here. I'll make another standard message board prediction.

I'm about to sign off and head for bed. When I do. One can reliably expect that someone in this thread will post some variation of.....

"Look ShortyRob took off once he knew he'd been destroyed in this thread....."

Message boards are fun.
