Yes! It is ludicrous that LSU has for some unknown reason decided to waste millions on this garbage while continuing to have a bargain basement men’s program, you know, the one that actually makes money. Tell Mulkey she’s retiring and end this charade.

Honestly, Mulkey retires and Seimone Augustus is the next head coach. Cut some the funding you can be competitive in WBB without losing 9 Mil a year and keep those donors happy.

I would make it real simple.....since you are a big money loser, you get what you bring in. If you have some big Women's basketball donor, then have it.

You know they don’t get any extra for tonight right? The TV deals are made with the conference and revenue is equally shared amongst all conference members. To be honest, ESPN/ABC already had rights to the game so I don’t think the conference even gets more money.

It was a great show for a national audience.
It will be interesting to see the ratings and if we actually got more money. I think whatever they paid it goes to the conference to be split, but I’m not sure.

Was listening to the men's game on the Vols radio network today and even they were making excuses for McMahon, "he's just been so unlucky," they say. They're defending him bc they love LSU being a doormat in at least one major sport, they love McMahon.

A sold out PMAC says the LSU fan base as a whole likes WBB.
It would be cool though if Alex Box Stadium could hold 13,000 for the big-time SEC series, regionals and super-regionals.

The fans that think a college can have top tier MBB and FB programs are delusional in today’s NIL world. Name one out there actually winning championships at both. Enjoy what you have and chill on the perspective that every LSU sport is going to be in the national championship. We are a football and baseball school, the rest might hit every so often but it’s not worth the meltdown and yearly investment. Keep what you have going first.

maybe just maybe LSU would turn hire a competent head basketball coach people would want to invest more and give more
Sorry, but Kim has done more with college basketball for LSU than any of our other HC‘s in men’s basketball
