I thought that the teams are re-seeded in Omaha and there weren't any brackets ala the Basketball Tourney

They used to re seed for the world series when it as a 8 regional 48 team format. Once they super regionals were brought into the mix, they play them where they are

okay...the 6 and 7 national seeds are out already...UC-Irvine and Oklahoma...
assuming the rest of the national seeds win their Super-Regional....the rest of the teams Virgina/Ole Miss/WKU and FSU/Arky winners will be seeded #7 and #8...
in Omaha....the seeding would be 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7, 3 plays 6...so #3 LSU would play #6 Florida..
I didn't think the Super Regional brackets made a difference in Omaha....
I guess I'm out the Omaha loop....

again, no reseeding, LSU would play the Virginia/Ole Miss winner, they take the place of UC-Irvine in the seedings

No... Virgina/Ole Miss/WKU will be the #6 and FSU/Arky will be the #7. There is no reseeding in Omaha

No.
LSU plays Ole Miss/EKU/Virginia in the first game of the CWS. LSU as the #3 plays the #6 in game 1 CWS, which shoul dhave been UC-Irvine, but now they're out, so OM,EKU, or Virg will take their place.
Florida is the 8, they get #1 Texas in the CWS first game.

And when showing the field of 8, it will be listed like this:
#1 Texas
#2 Cal State
#3 LSU
#4 North Carolina
#5 Arizona State
Ole Miss
Florida State
#8 Florida
So the first round game would be #3 LSU vs Ole Miss.
