Honestly i do not believe this game will even be close. Yes lsu is a great program, however this is not the year. To many questions. And this is TT last year of a fairy tale career. His story will end after this year and then you will have your shot. The gators are just to strong this year even in "death valley", and i'll admit that's a hard place to play. This is TT destany are you part of this story. Be happy!!

Bama can grind out a game against them and physically match up with them in the trenches, something I don't think LSU can do on either side of the ball
UF has BIG advantages with their front 7 aganist our 0-line and backs, and our d-line has been pretty pedestrian to date
WHEN LSU has been able to beat UF when they have been good recently, we've been able to impose our will along the offensive and defensive lines.
i don't think we can do that this year
as for Texas, I believe they can move the ball on just about anyone. McCoy doesn't make mistakes (like JJ), BUT he also makes plays and constantly puts pressure on the defense. Right now I think texas could match up with UF but really just because their D hasn't been tested
at the end of the season (barring injuries) I think UF's D will be as ahead of UT's offense as it was against OU's last year
not saying LSU can't win, I just haven't seen evidence this eason that makes me believe they will
and neither have you, or anyone else

but all last week people were saying "LSU is going to get stomped, hey i am just being realistic"
those people weren't being realistic, they were over-reacting.
nothing wrong with that. i just like that we have a chance. its the ones that think we don't have a chance that bother me.

i agree there
i think LSU has shown evidence we can play well enough defensively to give us a chance
i'm not saying i think LSU will get run out of the stadium like last year
i think UF will try and grind one out and make it a quick game, which i think bodes well for LSU
LSU doesn't want to be in a track meet
I say that and watch Urban come out and sling the football all over the football field
I just think when it comes down to it, they are better than we are up fron on both sides. our strength defensively is in the secondary, which is where their weakness is (passing)
i think they'll play to their strengths on offense, where they have an advantage over us and unless JJ has the game of his young career or we somehow run the ball with great effectiveness UF wins......and I don't see either of those happening against the best defense in the country

I went to games in the 90's and I always believed or at least hoped we would win. Anything can happen in TS on a Saturday night. That is one of the reasons it is a special place.

Very rational observations. I hope JJ does have that game of his career and I hope the offensive line finally gels and I hope the defensive improvement takes another giant leap forward. If we win, all of this has to happen.
