Did you see towards the end when JJ hit the TE with a bullet over the middle about 25 yds down field??

No actually stopped the video with a little bit left. I understand what you're saying about Lee thinking on his feet, but if he really has "learned to watch film" in the offseason as others have said, then you could see a world of improvement. As for the players wanting JJ, it's all about who you talk to. There are still players who believe in Lee. But no matter who takes the field for the Tigers, if they lead the team to victory and produce, the players will put their trust in that person and forget about last year.

Ga. had a QB with similar stats freshmen yr. who turn out pretty damn good. Give him a chance.

UGA also had no one behind Stafford either. We're lucky enough to not have that problem this year. It's JJ's team unless he fricks up THEN and ONLY THEN should we see if Lee has made improvements.

I know I'll get roasted for this but.......

Coach Stud needs to lose some weight. Dude is downright obese. How you present yourself affects the respect you attain.

Flame away.

so nothing that will happen during practice and scrimmages should change the order...JJ starts whether Lee shows more than him, or not?

I love the attention to detail and technique being taught on the defensive side of the ball...not sure that happened much last year.

I want the most feared defense in all of college football...

A bunch of hard-hitting mofos that would make Jerry Glanville proud

I'm getting pumped just watching the practice videos...what a huge upgrade on the defensive coaching staff.

This could be a really special year.

Big Les and the Chief will put LSU back towards the top in 2009, and back on top in 2010.

It's actually a great feeling to know that LSU has a quarterback with the passing skills and potential that Jarrett Lee possesses, in addition to other scholarship QBs on LSU's roster. It's obvious that J. Lee played too early in his career last year, but this is beating a dead horse since we all know why that happened.

I still have bad memories of LSU having backup quarterbacks like Brian Sparacino, Melvin Hill, Sol Graves, Jesse Daigle, Marcus Randall, et al.

I've got to get to work on the logo for the Chief's fan club, "The Tribe", so we can have the t-shirts ready for the season.

--Agree completely. LSU fans rooting against J. Lee just don't get it. JJ benefits the most by Lee doing well and pushing him.

Deangelo looked explosive on that last catch and run..maybe it was because he was following Alex Russian

John Williams looks like he gained some weight

I like Chavis's style... not sure the players understand wtf is coming out of his mouth, but he is attentive, demanding and vocal. I like it
