I’m an alumn from early 80s and have lived out of state since then. I’m in north La. This week checking on my parents and have a ticket to the lsu men’s baseball game on Sunday. Now it looks like weather may not be great on Sunday. Do they have a typical time they make a decision to perhaps make Saturday a double header? I’d really like to make the game, even if it’s moved to Saturday but am 4 hours away. Are their media outlets I need to be monitoring earlier Saturday to be able to leave here earlier than planned to make a Saturday nightcap?

Believe it or not the last game I’ve seen was at original Alex box when auburn and Bo Jackson came to play while I was a student. Man time flies. Ha!

Unfortunately, decisions on game time changes related to weather are usually late breaking (especially in the Jay Johnson era…tongue in cheek). It is unlikely that they will postpone a Sunday game until later in the day for weather because the visiting team will have to catch a flight. I would follow the LSU baseball Twitter account for announcements. If we’re lucky and the weather really does look bad for Sunday, then they will hopefully announce if they plan to adjust the gametime with enough forewarning. If that happens, my guess would be they plan for a double header Saturday or an early AM start Sunday for game 3

Hopefully it’s not a wash but this team could use a rain delay to get back going

Smart Man to get out early. I waited too long but kinda liked my hometown (Mandeville) so I stayed for awhile. 25 minutes to cross the Causeway, do your business or have fun in NOLA then back across the Lake to live in safety.

Well Jay Johnson likes to wet himself if there is anything on the radar within 200 miles so it’d just assume the game won’t happen if the weather looks bad

Or you might go to the game and sit in the stands with beautiful weather and wonder why the game is delayed all day

I’ve got a ticket to the LSU woman’s baseball game if you’re interested in an even trade. It’s good anytime or day.
