I'd imagine they're going to be extra vigilant due to the current tensions with Iran.
That's a good point.

Anyone who attended the 2003 NC game in New Orleans can tell you there was an hour delay and you had to be in your seat an hour before KO
2007 was worse, IMO Not sure if was post-Katrina, etc, but event staff were clueless. Ohio St fans around us waiting to get into stadium were beyond irate, and it was honestly embarrassing how poorly prepared the Dome was, and that had little to do with security.
I do not, however, expect it to be an issue this time.

We lined up 2 hours before kickoff in Tuscaloosa and it took us an hour to get into the stadium. I also had no problem getting my whiskey in but my wife got patted down more than I did.
Well I am sure they would rather pat her down, she probably looks a lot better than you do

Yep, none of us will see the president but we will certainly feel the effect. My question is always the same...Why does it have to be announced?

Based on my experience in Tuscaloosa this year, you're looking at 1 hour extra just to be safe.
Also, it's a combo of TSA and Secret Service people running security lines. I'll let you guess which one is more efficient...

I attended the Clemson-Alabama playoff game two years ago in the dome. It was cold, wind was blowing and I know it took us a hour and a half to get in. I thought we were early enough, 2 hours before game time. We nearly made it in for the kickoff. I am sure with the tensions in Middle East and the President attending, it could be a nightmare getting into the stadium

No need for bottles, you can pee anywhere in the dome.

Previously, I always planned on suite entrances being much faster entry. Wondering if that will slow down much more with SS involved.

Make sure you bring a towel or t shirt to wrap around your head in case it gets cold while waiting in line.
Also heard you guys sporting beards will have to strip down....be prepared!

To be frank, I don’t think the president should be going to a sporting event when we are dealing with some serious tensions with a foreign country. I think he should be in Washington monitoring that. And I doubt NOLA has the security to handle this too. But whatever, it is what it is.
