That is just delusional. We were not as a team better than them or the 5 teams we lost to. Talent wise we are a top ten team, but as for as playing together with attention to detail and effort for 4 quarters we were not even a top 25 team. Now if the team prepares and comes out and plays like they are capable of playing they should beat GT, but they have not shown that they can do that in quite some time.

There is a reason why ACC #3 choice gets paired up with SEC #5 (non-BCS) choice.
It's because a pretty good ACC team is generally an even match up with a mediocre SEC team.

I'm fairly certain we won't play the 2009 season with an experienced starter.
All the experience went elsewhere.
At the most, we might have 2 games experience with a playbook consisting of about 12 plays.
And, if things play out for the best of the program next season, we may see the majority of the snaps taken by someone with no experience. Or, we could take a whole season to figure out what our best option is.
It's been known to happen.

I don't know why anyone would be upset at that quote. Everything he said was true. We aren't worthy to play them, and they will prove it on Dec. 31.
In almost any other year, the SEC would have had a decent team to send to the Peach Bowl. Georgia Tech just got unlucky that this was the year they wound up in the Peach Bowl.
