Hate to tell you chief. No one goes to SLU OVER LSU for any reason. My wife and I came up to LSU with ZERO help from ANYONE and we both managed to get out, in a heap of debt, and are doing just fine now. And that was two years before TOPS. Don't pull this, "I didn't go to LSU for financial reasons" bullshite kid.

thats bull dude. i had to take out money out in my name and put stuff on my credit to fix my house that got 4 feet of water. my parents divorced after the storm so i had to stay close to home and help raise my sister. slu gave me pretty much a full ride and they had a CJ program which LSU doesn't have. i also had to buy a new truck after the storm which set me back. it wasn't the cost of tuition for lsu but the skyrocketing cost of housing in BR that killed it for me. i also had a steady job in slidell i would go back to that i didn't want to lose. slu saved me a shitload of money by cheaper tuition, book rentals, and housing over lsu. you don't know my situation dude so lay off..shite was tough for a while.

I dont like fans leaving early either, but I guess I understand it a little better during the troy game. My question is this, why do several thousand leave at halftime of really close gamers against SEC opponents. Game too close??

You were 17 years old when Katrina hit. How the frick did you have to "take money out in your name and put stuff on your house" when you just turned 20 a few months ago? Either you have THE worst parents in the universe or something smells like poo poo homie.

Man I appreciate your "stick-to-it-iveness", but Jesus-to major in-COCK JUGGLING? You should've just earned extra money planting tulips.

LSUdm21- i never said financial reasons were the main or sole factor..there were a shitload of other reasons. in the end, im glad i went to slu because im getting out a year early and my education was free from distractions. shite worked out better for myself, my family, and my gf.

I showed up at around 6:45. The players and coaches didn't show up till about 9:30.

Plus I showed up to see LSU. What I got for 2 3/4 quarters was Tulane. Oh wait, Tulane played better than that.

If the players want the fans to stay and watch an LSU game, the LSU team should at least show up.

Good for you. I really enjoy fricking with you when you pull the "I could have gone anywhere." "I'm going to settle on LSU's Law School if I don't get into a top tier Law School with a fricking Criminal Justice degree from SLU." And my personal favorite was when you "challenged me academically or on the field" as you put it. Have fun with your life junior.

"The fans' leaving did kind of upset me," Johnson said. "Then they did upset me when they started to boo. It was weird to see the fans leaving. It was crazy. The coaches were really upset with (fans).

"The players trailing at halftime kind of upset me," 50,000 people said. "Then they upset me when they went down even more after halftime. It was weird to see a top 25 team losing to Troy. It was crazy. The fans were really upset with the coaches."

Fixed it. Maybe Big Herm should be trying to fire up his teammates instead of the fans.

If you want the fans to stay for the entire game, the team needs to bring it's "A" game each and every Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium!
