Average per rush can be an overrated stat. Homerun potential is nice, but football is all about moving the chains. The most important yards to pick up are the first three. Not doubt Ford should get alot of carries, though. Recently, he has shown better ability to get those first few yards up the middle, probably because jj has been QB.
