plus the reported growing internal strife between Kelly and the uppers at LSU you’ve got a potential powder keg.

Nuss will get a shot after Daniels gets dinged up again at some point.

Hell come in after Bama game and run the table.

Rant will then implode on what could have been after we lose to Ole miss Bama and Florida after getting mud holed by Tennessee

Nuss threw 2 pics in a full starting game last year against a good SEC team. The only other time he has played with the 1s was Auburn this year. You have another reason to be bashing nuss and pumping JD.

He played against Southern and looked like hammered shite . . . against Southern.

Nussmeir's Dad was an NFL QB and is currently the QB coach for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm just sayin...

Well, Walker is more talented than Nuss.
So what Is your point?

I'm not calling for Nuss to start or anything to the nature, but what is up with the hate for Nuss. Based on one bad performance this year where he was clearly pressing his arse off? He played well against NM and didn't really have a chance to do much against Auburn. Is it based on those performances or do people hear that he isn't practicing well, also?

In limited play in 2021 it appeared to me the game was too fast for him. He would like for his primary guy and if he wasn’t open it was panic time. He was a true freshman. I understood.

In early action v Southern, I didn’t see much better. He looked sound though v NM. Nothing great, but I thought he was better.
Versus Auburn though he was limited. They didn’t trust him, and he didn’t do well on some basic pksys.

I hope all this experience is helping him because we will need him to do better later on.

Find hard to believe that Nuss’s dad had time to coach up his son while being an nfl assistant working 100 hours a week. And Nuss is definitely a scramble and make a play type of QB, not a sit in the pocket and read the defense qb.

I agree, but he got thrown in against Auburn and mainly handed the ball off. The times he did throw, he had 2 dropped passes in receiver's hands. I just don't get most of the judgment from this year when he's had very limited snaps. It could be from listening to people like Masconna that make you believe he's terrible.
