We need to have sheppard in atleast half the time and let the guy throw. Who knows he could blow JJ away. Sometimes Jefferson really looks like he has no idea what he is doing.
And... there went your credibility. You clearly were either not paying attention to the game, or can't come to rational conclusions based on what you are watching.
Jefferson needs to come out more for Shep cause Jefferson looks lost out there? Really? REALLY?

This shite has to stop. It's the go to Jefferson defense for all of his proponents. I think JJ looked pretty good today, but he still has a MAJOR issue with holding the ball too long and panicking in the pocket.
The O-Line played well today. JJ had time to throw. Several of those sacks were his fault, not the OL's.

(Sometimes Jefferson really looks like he has no idea what he is doing. I mean sheppard comes in for just a few plays a game and his handoffs are so crips and smooth and actually look great, but if you watch Jefferson his handoffs are slow and he doesnt put the ball in his gut on fakes or anything. I just think sheppard should get a chance to see if he can contribute on the passing side as well as his bad arse ability to run.... OK im tired of Bitching)
Did you see when shep was a little confused today? Maybe you really didn't watch the game!

Jefferson's "pocket presence" is very poor. You can be a tin man like Dan Marino and still avoid the rush, it doesn't require speed, he was great at it. I don't have a clue how you learn this kind of thing. It probably just comes from experience.

Oh really CHAMP was sheppard confused some. HMMMMMM could that possibly have anything to do with him only playing 5 plays a game. Do you think it could have something to do with that. COULD IT? DUMBASS!!!

How did you miss the Ga defender taking him down with a one arm tackle to his chest? He didnt even wrap up. Just grabbed him and threw him down? Then the pile driver move that almost split RS in half and caused him to lose the ball. Hes just too thin right now to get tons of work in the SEC.

He is a better QB than Marcus Randall ever was, but he has one similar trait. If JJ is in rhythm, then he is good, and tends to make good decisions. Once he gets out of that zone, though, he can really lose focus. The first drive of the second half would be a great example.
I thought Crowton did a great job getting him into that good rhythm on the first drive. It was his best play calling of the season, by far. Unfortunately, the play calling and especially, the execution, were suspect in the red zone. I did love the middle screen call to Scott on the second drive. The LB at his feet just made an awesome heads up play, or Scott walks in untouched.
JJ got back into that rhythm after the 3rd down completion to Randle in the 4th quarter. He looked better and more settled after that and made a few big throws.

Would you have preferred more redzone scoring in a heroic loss?

Number 1: You're a moron.
Number 2: If you have a college degree, I hope people's lives are not in your hands every day because that is the worst grammar and spelling I have seen since Kevin Faulk.
Number 3: Besides the 26 yard scramble and the phone call to the pressbox, Jordan Jefferson sucked. So I agree with you on a few fronts.
Numerology scatted, I will rant.
The running game found incipiency. Note the second leading rusher. He will throw some passes next week. #10's game plan went out the window when he fumbled.
A common thread. Jefferson keeps checking down receivers because he knows how good the defense is. However, he will be tested in the 'playmaking' department next week (passing situations).
Maybe JJ will shine and show us how smart and talented he is, or we fall. Miles has a game plan, and he's sticking to it. Shepard will not be exclusive all year unless #9 and #12 go down. Shepard will probably throw a pass or two this week, but don't expect Drew Brees. Miles has been holding back for this game.
However, I will stick to my mantra for the last 4 weeks:
Jordan Jefferson gets rid of the ball about as fast as I pinch one off with a hemorrhoid. Gary Crowton has more packages than a Ron Jeremy flick. Bad combination.

Very true. Remember all the fumbles JR used to have standing in the pocket like a statue while pressure would come from the weak side. It was like he had no idea. He improved a lot in recognizing this and moving in his Junior season. It is possible to learn this. I think it just comes more naturally to some.

I turned to my dad at one point in the game and said, "Les Miles is using his voodoo again". Love him or hate him, the guy comes out smelling like a rose every time. Never seen anything like it.

I stopped reading after "UnExcuesable"
Using the word "Unexcusable" is inexcusable.
What the hell is wrong with you people?
