Tell that to my 8th grade team this year. We steamrolled every team we played. Never once played down to the level of competition. Did we have superior talent against every team..nope. So how? Fully prepared every week...playing like it's our last game every single time...riding our best players like rented mules....continuing to score throughout the game...foot on throat=crush them. Average margin of victory 31 points. Guess that blows your theory of "All teams do it, every single year." And for the record, I'm convinced we could have hung with the tigers during the backside of the 4th quarter.

I heard LSU is trying to replace New Mexico State with...Baylor next year. That would be a serious schedule upgrade for us.

But you keep pumping just the same...he needs it...also there might be a difference between peewee and 8th graders...Ive coached at the high school level as well on teams that had similar success.
