Mizzou was 3-1 and tied at the top of the SEC coming in.
Lane Kiffin is not interested in doing press conferences. Expect very few out of the actual season.
As a season ticket holder in 4 LSU sports (fball, MBB, WBB, and baseball), I can assure you the measure of how many folks support a sport is NOT how many fans are at the national title game. It's how many folks attend a weeknight OOC game. It's how many folks watch games on TV/media.

Baseball in college is loved at LSU but almost invisible nationwide. More US sports fans know who Kim Mulkey is as compared to Jay Johnson. More folks watch the WBB Final Four than the MCWS championship series.
LSU NIL dedicated to baseball far surpasses what the rest of the SEC spends on baseball.
Sounds like we have already spent our bag.
Chambliss will win his lawsuit (in a MS court!) and be back at qb for Ole Miss next season. IF LSU can score points as we should be able to do, that could be quite a shootout.
My wife and I were in the Dome as we were after the 2011, 2007, and 2003 seasons.
1. A "starting" qb that cannot practice full-on until probably August? Better get the back-up qb ready.

2. IF we can get a healthy Leavitt and IF we can get a quality O line and IF the O Line can gel...too many IF's to be a CFP team in 2026.

3. Lane Kiffin will get us there but probably NOT in 2026. I do want to see fundamental improvement.
Since KM came "home" I have watched every LSUWBB game plus many, many others. The things so many "experts" here complain about are characteristic of WBB at large. Especially close-in missed shots.

A seasoned WBB HC explained to me that females are (1) shorter than males, 2) have shorter arm lengths than males, and (3) cannot jump as effectively as men. These facts make them less effective under the basket especially against players taller than them.

Shock: you are out-to-lunch on this one. KM has zero to prove as she has already won 4 NC's at two schools. No one in WBB history has done that at two schools.

I believe Texas is the best team in the SEC this season. They have already beaten the favorite to win the SEC, Carolina.
12,885 tomorrow afternoon versus #2 Texass. Go Lady Tigers! :-)
There is zero chance Ole Miss will be 11-1 or 12-0 in 2026...ZERO CHANCE.
I trust Lane Kiffin to recruit and coach up a quarterback. Don't you?

LOL. We are "celebrating" getting ALL our coaches back in Baton Rouge and working for LSU.

OP is completely off.

1.. We were effective inside on O and D.

2. We got beat getting back on D one time in that half.
I want ALL LSU's new coaches to be on duty at LSU ASAP.
Team was not focused tonight nor did they play with great effort. Missing DJ hurt bigtime, but the game we played was so bad not even DJ could have saved us.

Extremely disappointing. We left early. I can take losing but not losing to a crappy team because of poor play. And our play was as poor as I have seen it this season.
AS I have said all along: do not expect to win 9-10 games in the regular season in 2026. I do not care how much we spend on our roster in NIL/AD funds, 2026 is gonna be a season of establishing LK's system. I expect 8-4.
PART of the problem is we usually start out SEC play with teams that cannot beat us. THIS year we start out SEC play with 5 straight teams that very well could beat us. This is very different than the last 4 seasons of LSUWBB.

We will definitely be underdogs to Texas and OU. Not sure about UGA at UGA.
It is amazing to me that so many Ole Miss fans want affirmation from LSU fans.

I'm sure Golding has done a fine job in his few weeks as a head coach.

My question is this: would OM fans rather Kiffin et al have never flirted with LSU and left OR would they rather have it the way it is now with Golding in charge? I think I know what the answer is to that.
