Did we ever get the story on this one?

He was backing up Ciron Black as a redshirt freshmen.

He looked damn good when he got a few snaps here and there.

There is no way he was run off Saban style.

I started a thread about this exact same topic a few weeks ago. OL attrition has been terrible under LM. How bad would it be if Hitt, Barksdale and Blackwell hadn't been moved over from the DL?

well barksdale has only played OT at LSU

i don't know if blackwell really played much DL

Barksdale played his first spring practice (he was a mid term grad) at DT.

He had a sack in that spring game.

I don't see why everyone has a stick up their arse about players moving from DL to OL, and acting like it's a sign that our OL is terrible. These guys are better on the OL. I see it as a positive that Miles can recognize this. Barksdale may have come in as a DL, but Les never intended for him to play there.
