Get rid of this goofy looking slapdick too, what does he coach?
I know he was a former catcher (not a good one).
I call this bullshite. Have you ever been to a baseball practice

Dunn looks like he has ties to the Cubs, and likely comes recommended by Jim Hendry who is close to Mainieri.

there is a line there that Javi has crossed since the 1st time he was put in the 3rd base coaching box
I am ambivalent about Grewe, but Javi ....not at all. Baserunning has been crappy for the past few years and cost LSU many games in the process. I think LSU would have done as well with no one in the box when it came to this aspect of the game.

here's the deal, I cussed Godwin just as much ad I have cussed javy in 3rd base box so I think dbg is accurate in post above
Hell even manieri ran us out of innings when he coached third his first year so he obviously plays it aggressive which I'm cool with
Our pitchers have not gotten better under Grewe at al, can't think of one so he had to go, still leaps and bounds better than wriderhold( luls)
Bottom line id rather Grewe go and you know i talk to college baseball coaches

Manieri can flat out coach i think
If he's cool with javy so am I, I mean I hear Godwin left cause manieri really controls the offense anyway and Godwin has total offensive control with Rooney

If you had to choose one, yeah, you'd choose to get rid of Grewe first, but we should be able to get a hitting coach with experience.

Look manieri didn't forget how to coach in two years
If he thinks we can win with javy then let's do it for now anyway

I'm not questioning him, also, its been like 36 hours since our season ended, he's got plenty of time to make coaching decisions.

No doubt an I know you aren't questioning him

LSU owns rice. If we want him, he's ours.

alsup was a defense for grewe last year, but he got worse this year
Posted on 6/1/11 at 11:59 am to josh336
Yeah he got a little worse, but he's still a lot better hten he was when he came.
Posted on 6/1/11 at 12:42 pm to CajunFootball
I'm not sure, his era this year compared to 2 years ago is better, but the bats are much weaker
Posted on 6/1/11 at 12:44 pm to josh336
Too hard to tell, but based on stats he improved well last year and kind of feel off this year.
