I'd guess the following will all go before Ridley:
Ingram
Williams
Murray
Royster
Rodgers
and probably more...

Rodgers
If you mean Jacquizz Rodgers, I don't think he will go early.
He is just Trindon Holliday with a higher IQ.

he may not go early. that said, he'd probably go before Ridley.

Ingram / yes
Williams / depends on combine
Murray / probably
Royster / no way
Rodgers / no fricking way

I don't think Rodgers will go in first 5 rounds. Too small for the NFL.

You think Ridley would really go before Royster? It just wouldn't happen man... When looking at these backs I'm beginning to think Ridley really might not go at all. I think the 5th is the absolute best he will go.

Where was Sproles drafted?

Emmert comes through for LSU.

4th round I think.

And he is nothing more than a scat back/kick returner now. Matthews and Tolbert ran for more yards than him.

I still don't see what this has to do with where guys will get drafted... Rodgers will be drafted somewhere around round 4-5.

It's pretty much proven that the chance of a small back excelling in the NFL is 1 in a million and GM's know that.

maybe.... I also believe they know its pointless to take slower bruising running backs when there will be a bunch available as free agents.

I agree which is why I think it is pointless to take any back in the first 2 or 3 rounds unless he is like an "end all, be all" type guy.
