Can't we all just agree that Ritter's crew sucks for both teams?
Refs in all sports have too much influence on the outcomes of games. Doesn't matter the sport, they want to be noticed. When refs are invisible the game is always better.
Let the players and coaches decide the outcome.

I could agree that Ritter sucks for both teams if Ritter didn't rook us over and over, and particularly against the gumps.
I bet his daughter was happy, and that is all that really matters.

quote:I said in my last post that the bad calls come for both teams but the timing of the bad calls/no calls always come at a time where any team playing a team from the state of Alabama are detrimental to success.
The bad calls went both way , the lsu player should have been called for pulling the bama player's pants down and another holding the hand of the bama player ln the end zone keeping him from a td.
Always. A holding call In the second half when the game is not in doubt is way different from a Personal foul with 2:00 left in the fourth with the game on the line.
Do you understand what I'm trying to say or are you so delusional that you will defend?

I'm not one to bitch about refs, but these guys really did suck.
-On Dupre's TD, he had two feet in and clearly got face-masked and they missed both. How is that possible when that is the only person you're looking at as refs when the ball is in the air?
-Two flags were thrown and picked up because there were "no flags" on the play. Okay.
-Bama's player was intentionally mooned by our player and Jennings face mask was ripped off on the same play - they apparently missed both.
-The ball was downed at the one and called a touchback.
-Sideline warning to Bama's coaches for being on the field and then no real penalty when that one dude was way out on the field as the play was going on over and over. The other Bama coach kept having to shove him to the sidelines.
-And then the personal foul being called when just about every person on both teams was pushing each other. They blew the whistle and the Bama guy was pulling on Alexander's leg from the back for no apparent reason with the ref staring at him and all Alexander did was turn around and push the guy off of him. It was complete bullsh*t and messed up everything for how LSU wanted to proceed. Joke of a call.
All of this.
I literally said the exact same thing to my dad during and after the game. We were sitting in 212 and saw that facemask on Dupre, the two flags "thrown" then waived off, Saban and that other guy way out on the field during play after the sideline warning yet no penalty thrown.

For once you'd think an Alabama fan would like to walk out of a stadium after a victory against LSU and be congratulated for a hard fought victory but i don't think that really matters to any of them.
Just win baby win. Amirite?

I was in the stadium so my view from the 25 yard line wasn't that great. I don't care about that call. I care about the non offsetting penalties on the Personal foul call.
Exactly, the ref is standing right in the middle of the pile, how he can't see that guy pulling on 74's leg is beyond stupid.
Why can't the official say, come on guys knock it off?
but no, he has to flag the home team and change the outcome of the game. It is just unbelievable how we get screwed in these games with Alabama.
I am still pissed off about the fact they got a rematch and a National title finishing 2nd in the West Division.
the whole this stupid....make me hate Saban and Alabama all the more...
No character, spoiled fans and coach that only cares about money and winning... Karma is headed your way Bama fans
Brace yourselves

When a well respected ex-official who is used to go over reviewed call on Fox NFL games can see their is a bias in SEC officiating you know it is most likely true.
SEC has almost lost credibility.

I think the worst officiating moment in the game went unnoticed...
It was in the 4th quarter and Jennings got sacked on first down and was a little slow getting up. About 5 seconds after shaking off the injury, Ritter stopped for an injury timeout, which required Jennings to come out of the game. In my eyes, that was a clear effort to distort the drive

I had forgotten I made that! Nice pull...I referenced it the other day before the game and couldn't put my hands on it.
Thanks.

My twelve year old nephew saw him get out of the prison van they are transported to the stadium in. He said this isn't good and it will cost us seven points.

When I saw Ritter officiating i was thinking the same thing, he should be banned from doing any Bama games... His bias is clear and that was one of the worst officated games ever, and he is in almost all of the bad ones...

I agree! But not only did LSU have a lot more bad calls but the timing of those calls changed the game. I'm not saying we don't still loose the game but they sure made it a lot harder on us and easier on Bama. To say LSU definitely scores from the 6 is ridiculous. But its a helluva lot better shot than from the 21. The other really bad ones, (the ones where I said during the game WTF is going on here?) were the picked up Pass interference against Bama and the final play pass interference. Those couldn't have been any more obvious.

quote:Look gump, that CBS crew is the biggest homer Bama crew in TV. They may as well say WE when describing anything bama because the homerism is clear. With that being said, it was obvious they were in protection mode because the refs were being obvious and Gary was trying to throw off the scent of gump official cheating.
He flat out said it was a good no-call. He also said that the downed punt that set up the fumble should have been a touchback. He also questioned the no-call on the LSU db holding hands with Deandrew White.
Question, How many officials from the crew either went to bama or have kids at bama today? If the answer if 1 or more, the SEC office isn't doing its job.

You can correct me if I'm wrong but the referee threw his hat on the ground, which signifies a touchback, before the ball even got close to the goal line
