O...I know that there was some conversation on earlier threads by App people about if the band was going...

There is going to be an 80-piece pep band travelling down there :jump1:

As in The Battle of King's Mountain, the turning point of the Revolutionary War? Won by "The Brokeback Mountain Men", a bunch of 'backdoor' men from the Blue Ridge mtns of NC and Va.

Fixed it for you.

Lighten up, Appfan! It's all in jest. You'll have a good time if/when you come to the game. We can tolerate a little good-natured ribbing about our culture as well, as long as it's from your fans and not from those salad-tossing USC assholes (just for you, Tangerine!)

You guys didn't know?

It was the mountaineer army that helped the confederates win their war against Fredrick Douglas; when Winston Churchill and Skeletor dropped the atomic bomb on St Louis

I just got back from a 4 day trip to NO...Don't anyone talk to me about mountain people looking inbred or strange.

Outside of 1 excellent restaurant(of course there were many others that are world class not on Bourbon st) on Bourbon St it looked like Thailand.

Well I'm in a minority here....i actually like France, the people there have been nothing but kind when I travel there. Also without the French and their culture NO would be just like Mobile Alabama!!!!

Man, the history on this board is terrible. Whoever said that battle in NC was the turning point in the war bought into the bullshite they were fed in high school. The battle of Ticonderoga as well as Saratoga up in Vermont and NY that was the turning point of the war with Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys. Just pointing out the facts.

Plus, France is great, Paris is a bunch of assholes.
