how would you know...les miles never let him show it off.

Just watch his high school footage. Or watch him warm up with the QB's prior to the early season games.

RS has a better arm than JJ.

based on what exactly?

I agree he should have thrown the ball more than 0 times, especially Auburn and Tulane

And this is why you're here on tigerdroppings.com and not coaching college football.

Any college QB can throw a football 40 yards.

Um, no he doesn't. You do realize that even if this was the case, it wouldn't mean he should play QB. Plenty of people can out throw the both of them, but are not QB material. Height is one asset that JJ has that RS doesn't. An understanding of the playbook seems to be another. The ability to read a defense, lead a team, instill belief and confidence in your teamates.... Should I go on.

BTW - RS did not play a snap yesterday.

If Miles didn't play RS because of curfew, and chooses not to tell us, it's likely because he's protecting a young kid from criticism. Can't fault him for that. RS, however, said that he didn't know why he didn't get in the game.

I think the number of times he appeared to be confused about the play affected his opportunities this year...but I would think in the bowl game the turf wasn't really conducive to a shifty running style.

If Shepherd was late, Les should understand clock problems.
