Our O line has not been able to block Bama for 7 years. We have been able to keep it closer at home in other games. Our line this year is worse than it has been. I had binoculars on the line most plays on Saturday. Our guys were beaten on the first step out of the snap. No,scheme can work under those circumstances.
Can we have a better scheme. I am sure we can. Not sure it matters much when we cannot win the line of scrimmage Bama won the line of scrimmage on almost every play.
Bama player have occasionally told the media and others that they know every play we are running before we run it. It is possible that there film work and analysts are doing NFL,level, work. It is possible that we are tipping plays.

So most plays Bama rushed four and dropped 7 in coverage. The four rushers beat our line on almost every play. We appeared to have the receiver in the hole outside over the short zone and in front of the safety available much of the time... not sure if Burrow ever had time to see it. Or if he can make that throw. Brees can and does make thatnthrow.
Bama knew their 4 man rush was working. Just like Florida did. They rolled up their zone on both sides. Shut off the easy throws. We had slants open. Bama knocked the ball down at the line three or four times. Not real sure what scheme would have helped.
We are probably tipping plays as well

It’s such a predictable LSU thing to ignore a significant gap in talent.

The Oline couldn't pass block or run block. So is it your opinion that the oline is below average? Deculus is not athletic enough to be a tackle in the SEC. Traore can't play either. LSU has to get better players along the line. It seemed like Bama's players were moving before LSU'S constantly.
