Don't even get these guys started on the other So Cal school. This will go 20 pages or get deleted.

You're already a Tiger Rant regular with a statement like that. FUSC!

Wait, so you "are" saying we're retards?
We spend all this time on watching 18 dudes in tight pants. I think we're all a little retarded.

Truthfully, nobody knows. If this were a regular season game they would be around and just making sure the beer is in plastic cups. We haven't hosted in the postseason since 1986 though and have never had a weekend of 2,000+ crowds like we're going to see this weekend so we're not sure on their plans for beefing up parking lot security...or not.
Thanks. I'll keep the flasks hidden and just pour into my Orange Juice bottles.

In-game thread
Looks like fun, but I'll be at the stadium all weekend so I won't be around to join in. I will do my best to check in here after the day of games though.
For your game threads, if you have any questions that you can't get an answer to via TV, hop on twitter and send it to me that way. I'll do my best to answer.

Ryan...
I would have to guess, do you guys give up many homeruns? Your ballpark doesn't seem extremely large, but I know you guys have good pitching.
I'm excited to see if our players will try to turn that place into a launching pad.

Ryan, here's a little background on LSU/UC Irvine.
In 2008, LSU was playing its last series in its old ballpark, Alex Box Stadium. UC Irvine was our opponent during the Super Regional. UC Irvine coach Mike Gillespie was quoted after the Nebraska regional as saying how much he appreciated the fans in Lincoln. They weren't like the fans in Baton Rouge. They were respectful and knew that the Civil War was over. Needless to say, that quote hit the newspapers here early that week. We had already kicked Gillespie's arse twice in the past when he trotted USC team's into Baton Rouge and limped back home eliminated. Then in Game 1 (a UC Irvine win) they pulled a lame hidden ball trick that was made worse by the fact that we were not out and the umpire didn't see it but called us out anyway. In Game 2, we were down 5 runs in the 8th inning but our crowd rattled their closer and we rallied for the win. Game 3 was over before it started when we hit back-to-back-to-back HR's in the 1st innings.
We still want to kick some Anteater butt.
