I don't believe he has the same passion he had a few years ago. He retired either this year or next. You have to look at the recruiting angle of this, sure kids want to play for him but the idea he may leave at anytime can shy recruits away.

He looks and sounds like a chain smoker

Rich...you forgot $$$RICH. He may be old and tired but he’s a rich, old, tired CNS. You know why? Of course we all do.
To be the man...you gotta beat the man! Beating them on the field is all I care about!

In 1982 LSU finally beat the Bear after a long string of losses. He retired shortly after that.

His players are young and talented. He'll be fine

good, as much as i appreciate him for his time here, i'm also sick and tired of his shite over there. can't knock what they've accomplished, but the media, the REC, the GOAT coach, their FANS, good lord their fans....... all that needs to come to an end......and a nice beat down by us, and then maybe auburn, and a bowl loss, on top of last years Playoff beat down, could the beginning to the end. one can dream, right! oh yeah, he also looks old.

I said on 1-8-19 that he looked "low energy" the night before.

Well, remember we killed the "Bear".....

We will put Saban down just like we did to the Bear after that beat down we gave him.

They had an on field interview with him after the Arkansas game on Saturday, he looked absolutely awful, the worst I've ever seen him look.

Did we though? We weren't the first loss of the season (Tennessee). They lost 2 games after our game (USM and Auburn).
And they won their bowl game.
What am I missing?

Bear retired in 1983 and died a few months later.

I get that - but how is it "we" killed him?
How is it not Tennessee (first loss)? Or Auburn, his final Iron Bowl?
Or USM? Bear didn't lose many to smaller schools.
Is it because he hadn't lost to us since 1969? He hadn't lost the Iron Bowl since 1972.
Explain it to me like I'm 6 - how did LSU kill the Bear?

Wishful thinking.
