I guess I’m the only one who questions whether that’s a good goal?

Burns is rich no doubt. He does have a tendency to blow late leads though. He can choke, but I'd take his job in a heartbeat.

In my judgement, the long wait he had after posting 62 until the playoff may have affected him !

Burns shot a 62 didn't he ? Somebody caught him
he finished hours before the leaders. He was kinda able to play all Sunday without the pressure , then the pressure came

That’s golf…Burns is a heck of a player and will win a lot more tournaments as his career advances.
By the way…anybody else noticethat every time he is talked about, the announcers always throw in “he played at LSU !”
Most others don’t get their college affiliation mentioned.
He’s a great guy ! Celebrate him.

I didn't make $1.068 mil today . My Tuesday league has a $50 max payout for 1st place. I've won it twice in 6 years on tour. Golf is hard when you play by rules.

That wasn't the "Big One". The big one is this week at the US Open, and I think being runner up the week before is a good indication that he's playing well. Sam's a winner, and I'm glad to see him playing well and representing for the Tigers.

of course he's playing well. Hell, Sam shot 62 on Sunday. And he's 23rd on the money list at $3.5 million.

But we're talking about him making some poor shots in the playoff, and also missing a 5-footer that would've won it. And a terrible 3-putt on the final playoff hole to take all the pressure off of Fox.

The difference between winner and 2nd place was $764,000.

Is he?

I never see anything LSU related on or in his bag nor school colors any round.

I root for the guy over everyone out there just wish he would rep a little once in a while.
