Not as concerned about State and Florida, as we aren't in a position to dictate the flow of a basketball game to Top 20 teams.

South Alabama was MOST CERTAINLY a shite show.
I actually think the Arkansas game was handled REALLY well, with the pacing of the time outs after the free throws to regroup, etc. Same with the OT game against Auburn.
I trust that he knows more about basketball than I do.

I think some of his B12 conference coaches have gone on record with vague accusations of his shadiness. That being said, it could be all BS and he's just that good.

Coaches accusing him of negative recruiting is all I've ever seen with any substance. I'm sure he's dirty just like every other big time recruiter in college basketball but the line that hiring him equals instant probation seems to have been born on message boards and originated because of rival schools' sour grapes.

I think Trent deserves his 5th year if he makes it to 7 SEC wins. I would have liked to see a bit more improvement by now but it is what it is. We've improved significantly since the USA and Houston games. If we had won USA and one more conference game we'd be looking pretty decent.

the crowds for these conference games haven't been as bad as usual at least. there's a little life in the PMAC. I'd love to beat Vandy and get another Kentucky sized crowd in the building for Bama

The last thing LSU needs is a guy who can/will get the program on probation again.
On top of that, LSU has a good chance to finish this season on a very strong note and get to 8-8 in the SEC and make the NIT. Going into this year, any rationale fan would consider a success and strong step in the right direction - especially given the youth of this team.
Calm down and enjoy the ride.

Dirty recruiting isn't an NCAA violation....if he's just bad-mouthing other programs.

Vandy never got above .500 in conference until Kevin Stalling's eighth season. Seems like Vandy is doing okay these days?

Trent has won as many games through 3.5 years as Drew did in 5 years at Baylor. Drew's also had 6 losing conference seasons out of 9.
Stansbury didn't break .500 until year 4 at State. State's doing okay these days, aren't they?
Why are all these other schools able to take 5+ years to build, but LSU is not?
