Some of us are just employing dark humor. I'm actually one of the most optimistic posters on the Tiger Rant, but even I get really frustrated sometimes, and holy crap, there has been a whole lot of frustration in recent years.

That's the point! How do we complete just 50% and have pick 6 when running 80%? very disturbing

I was just high on murphy because he looked much quicker and stronger than I expected. I thought they all looked good though

Miles singled out former St. Augustine defensive back Tyrann Mathieu as having a good day with several passes broken up in the two-minute drill.

and have pick 6
He said he even knew what play was going to be run.
Crowton assumes opposing DC's are just fricking stupid. He counts on it.

Why are we trying to run the option against this fast arse LSU defense???

Posted on 8/14/10 at 8:44 pm to Roaad
I refuse to be hard on the players any longer. To think that Crowton would continue to throw a fricking bubble screen with JJ is completely moronic.
I'm not taking much out of this scrimmage, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear of some drama between BG and GC this season.

Yes, it sounds like the performances of Mathieu & Wright were definitely pleasant surprises from the scrimmage.

our 3 cbs are the best I can remember us having.
mathieu doesn't looks as physically developed as the other 2, but the guy can just man up and cover people

Crowton refuses to play to a player's strength.

This is true.

It ended for me in the closing seconds of the Ole Piss game.
I used to defend the staff to the very end.
That game opened my eyes.

Let's hope for the good of the program, BG wins those battles!

Jj has such a long release when he turns to throw the bubble it seems to take forever to develop,

I think CBG would tell you he does not favor any of the QBs we have other than ZL, just a hunch.

the best 2 I can remember had to be 2007. Zenon and Jackson were a solid pair.

how often did we run the option?

JL likes to pump fake the bubble screen. . .same result.
