Actually, Meyer is the first coach to win 2 BCS titles. LSU was the first school to win 2.
I can agree with Meyer at one, and Saban only gets ranked second based on his combined success at Bama and LSU. Still, if Spurrier is given his spot b/c of his time at UF and obviously overlook his mediocre success at Carolina, then to hold a single season against Miles is sketchy.
And don't even start with the Richt stuff. He does less with more on a very regular basis.

i truly dont care what si has to say, and usually i just dismiss these whining threads, but in this case its true. they pratically suck off every coach. excpet they say whell miles sucked it up last year hed better hope he does something good.

I hate to say it, but I think there is a clear cut #1 and then you could argue for either Miles, Saban, Nutt, or Spurrier to be #2. They each have done terrific jobs at some point in their career.
After watching how much success Meyer has had at Florida, I'm starting to doubt just how good Spurrier is as a coach. Florida offers the best talent of any state in the SEC, and Meyer has accomplished more national titles in a much shorter amount of time.
Saban did great things at LSU and has Bama playing very disciplined. Georgia is totally consistent and wins 10+ games each year.
Miles is a recruiting badass who allows his players to make plays in big moments of the game. His aggressive style rubs some people the wrong way, but his record speaks for itself.
Tough call, I'd say it's Meyer and everybody else.

Miles will never get the respect he deserves from media, non-LSU fans, and LSU fans no matter what he does.
He's got my respect. Screw everyone else.

He may as well have just said he'll rank the teams in order of perception based on last year. Bobby Johnson is hands down a top 3 coach in the SEC. Tough academic standards, wins games he shouldn't - it is a monumental challenge to overcome.
Spurrier and Nutt ranked ahead of Miles? Meh Spurrier has sucked at SC, and Nutt has been a good coach but not great.
