that's not very nice. 1, 2 and 3 all show possession in my eyes. these are stills (obviously) but when you see it in motion he catches it cleanly with his hands and doesn't bobble it with at least one foot in.

Therefore, by your definition, the player is now a runner. If the ball comes loose at this point, it's a fumble.
Just make sure you apply the same standard next year when an LSU receiver's "hands are around the ball, ball is not moving, foot is inbounds" and then drops it.
I'd bet $$$$ you'll whine about it being an incomplete pass.
