if the administration had been forced to communicate w/ the fan base following the Dinardo demise, we may never have landed Saban. some things have to be done away from the public eye. It's a small price to pay.

and other coaches in the conference can "choose" to call up our commits and prospects them "hey LSU sucked this ear because they didn't have a defensive coordinator. They'll probably suck next year to unless he changes his mind about hiring one. Look like he's one of those hard headed coaches who can't admit a mistake. Do you really want to play for the next Larry Coker???"

So what if there were no LSU fans? There would be no Alleva, no Les, no LSU football.
True but they can't go blabbin' everything while they are thinking it and planning it. Just like in every other aspect of life, it's based on the "need to know" and proper timing.

Maybe he thinks that the best interest of LSU is to make the best possible selection. Maybe he thinks that that candidate is not currently available due to their obligation to their current team (nfl or college). Maybe since recruits have relationships with the current coaching staff, he feels that making such an annoucement would badly effect recruiting. He's meeting and speaking to all the committed and uncommitted, so he has a pulse on them. Now maybe you don't think that any of these things outweigh the importance of satisfying your curiosity, but that would be an absurd point of view. His duty and obligation is to do what's best for LSU, not to placate your, and others like you, obsession.

He is not signaling anything, people watch, listen and perceive. So whats wrong with giving motivational signals to keeps us from asking us these questions

Yes, cause these are the people who pay his salary!! We deserve to know what is going on, there is so much concern about the DC's and he acts like he does not know the problem exists. We deserve better, and I have lost a lot of respect for Miles during this last month.

He is communicating to the fanbase loud and clear. If you read between the lines (of silence), he's telling us all we're idiots and don't know a thing about coaching ... which is probably not too far from the truth.

What's the signal for , "I'm hiring a new DC?"
Look up "Defense" and "Coordinate"
That's the closest I could get.

Your problem is that you want to hear it from Miles, and he can't do that without telling everyone. There's been a lot of backdoor signaling, but many refuse to hear it. People like Chicken and Belowpar have communicated what they know hear and it's consistent with changes. Of course there is plausible deniablity. If he thought it was in LSU's best interest to annouce it he would. He probably doesn't so he won't. Again, his duty is to do things that he thinks is in the best interest of LSU; not what you think.

I won't listen to him even if he did communicate with the fan base.
When he communicated with the fan base before the 2005 SEC Championship, he said "Justin Vincent seems quicker this week on our indoor turf practices". This was shame on him number 1. I think the quarterback communication with the fanbase whas shame on him number 2.
I have only left one game early during miles reign(shame on me number 1) however I refuse to get a shame on me number 2.

If you managed anything or invented something, how would market your Business or product? Would you find away TOO!
1. get intrest
2. get people motivated
3. keeping people intrested
4. want people to buy the product
It is a business regardless
